Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine the impact of advertisement, sales promotion and brand image on repurchase intention. The respondents were the customers of Shopee, an online shopping platform. This study is quantitative in nature. A total of 200 questionnaires were distributed to the target respondents and 110 were returned. Various statistical analyses were employed to test the model. The result also confirmed that all the dimensions of the variables were good constructs. The finding found that the relationship between advertising, sales promotion and brand image and are significant.

Abstract

The Key Performance Indicator (KPI) method can be used to measure employee performance in a company. Key Performance Indicators for 2019 PT. Semen Indonesia Persero Tbk stil has a high percentage of not meeting the target, which means that there are factors that cause employee performance not be achived. it is suspected that work effectiveness are the cause of the employee’s not achieving performance. In addition, there are still inconsistencies in the results of previous studies with the results. So this thesis is the result of quantitative research that aims to answer the formulation of the problem regarding the effect of work design and work effectiveness on employee performance with a case study at PT. Semen Indonesia Persero Tbk either through partial or simultaneous testing. This research methodology uses quantitative research with causal research type. For the research sample, namely some of the employees of PT. Semen Indonesia Persero Tbk taken according to purposive sampling technique. The testing used is starting from testing the research questionnaire using validity and reliability tests. Furthermore, data analysis begins with the classical assumption test, multiple linier regression, t test, simultaneous test (f test) and the coefficient of determination test. In the testing phase, researchers used SPSS version 25 to test the statistics. The results obtained from the tests that have been carried out obtain the results that work design has no significant effect on employee performance, work effectiveness has a significant effect on employee performance. While the letter, namely simultaneously work design and work effectiveness have a significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Semen Indonesia Persero Tbk.

Abstract

The increasing issue of climate change has led to growing interest in sustainability especially for business. Consumers and people in general, have become more aware and concerned about their environmental footprint, which put pressure for businesses to develop and implement a comprehensive climate strategy which are included in the company’s sustainable strategy. The study on sustainability and sustainable business strategy has been increasing. However, in Indonesia this topic is relatively new and unexplored, thus it needs further discussion. This study examines the sustainable business strategy in a Fast-Moving Consumers Goods manufacturing company in Indonesia. The questions asked in this research include the company’s stage on sustainability effort and whether the company’s sustainable strategy has an impact in terms of the triple bottom line aspects of sustainability. The sustainability dimensions in the form of triple bottom line is explained as a basis for analysis. The study uses qualitative method using document analysis and interview to examine the stage of sustainable business strategy. The results suggested that the company’s sustainability effort is considered as holistic approach. It also suggests that the company’s effort in sustainability contribute to the economic well-being of the company and the stakeholders as well as social and environmental contribution. This research is expected to give a glimpse of the Indonesian manufacturing company’s effort on sustainable business practice which can be used as an inspiration for other companies in the same industries or by other industries to follow and implement a sustainable business strategy of their own.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the perception of changes in budget allocations has an effect on employee motivation and performance at one of the Deputy in the Coordinating Ministry using quantitative and qualitative methods. The magnitude of the perceived influence of changes in budget allocation as an independent variable will be assessed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS) on each dependent variable, namely employee motivation and employee performance. In addition, it also assesses whether employee motivation can be a mediating variable. The data used were obtained from the results of questionnaires filled by 121 employees on the object of research. The SEM-PLS method in this study was used in validity testing, reliability testing, and hypothesis testing. The results of this analysis will be supported by descriptive narratives according to the results of observations on the object of research. The results of the study indicate that the perception of changes in budget allocations influences increasing employee motivation. However, the perception of changes in budget allocations has no effect on employee performance. Furthermore, the perception of changes in good budget allocations will improve employee performance if mediated by employee motivation.

Abstract

The government's "social distancing" and "work from home" policies are carried out to reduce the risk of transmitting the virus between humans, which has the potential to decrease physical activity and exercise habits. In fact, regular exercise can play a role in increasing the body's immune system so that it can indirectly increase the body's defense against Covid-19. If sports activities are connected with technology, they will find many combinations and bring up various fresh ideas in sports. Smartband is a type of wearable that functions as a fitness tracker or health tracker for those who want to increase their fitness level. To improve the features on the smartband, use a Design thinking approach that focuses on humanity by integrating human needs, technological capabilities, and business success. Abstract

Business plan produksi tote bag dari bahan daun pandan duri dengan kombinasi kulit pull up disusun dalam rangka untuk mengoptimalkan potensi sumber daya alam (daun pandan duri) yang dimiliki oleh Sulawesi Tenggara dimana untuk tanaman pandan duri yang belum di manfaatkan 97 % dari luas hutan mangrove pada Sulawesi tenggara. Hutan mangrove di Sulawesi Tenggara, Kota Kendari 19.000 Ha, Kabupaten Kolaka 8.000 Ha, Kabupaten Buton 12.800 Ha, dan Kabupaten Muna 56.400 Ha, Kecamatan Kabawo 451 Ha, kecamatan Parigi seluas 3.372 Ha dan hutan mangrove yang terdapat di Kawasan Taman Nasional Rawa Aopa Watumohai mencapai 6.173 Ha. Melihat sumber bahan baku yang sangat banyak maka dari itu dibuat business plan untuk menciptakan iklim usaha kecil dan menengah yang kondusif, dan memiliki keunggulan kompetitif serta untuk mewujudkan tercapainya pertumbuhan ekonomi yang berkualitas dan berkesinambungan. Hasil kajian kelayakan menunjukkan bahwa usaha produksi tote bag dari bahan daun pandan duri dengan kombinasi kulit pull up ini ditinjau dari analisis NPV, PI atau B/C Ratio, IRR dan PBP menunjukkan usaha ini layak atau feasible untuk dilaksanakan di Kota Kendari. Hasil analisis kelayakan diketahui rata-rata BEP per tahun dalam unit sebesar 617 unit tas dan rata-rata ROI per tahun sebesar 75%. NPV bernilai positif (>0) sebesar Rp 313,256,097.29, dengan IRR sebesar 167,37% (>7.13), sehingga  dari  hasil  tersebut  maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa proyek produksi tote bag ini layak untuk dijalankan.
